By downloading, installing, or using Almaniac, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Almaniac is a calendar converter that displays one date across multiple calendar systems. Features may include date conversion, calendar information, holiday indicators, home screen widgets, themes, and optional donation links. Features may change at any time as the app is updated.
Almaniac does not require you to create an account. Your preferences are stored locally on your device.
Almaniac is provided for general reference and educational purposes. While we work to keep calendar calculations accurate, converted dates — especially for historical, religious, or regional calendars — may not be suitable for legal, religious, or official use. You are responsible for verifying important dates through authoritative sources.
Almaniac may offer optional ways to support development. Any payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective terms. Donations are voluntary and do not unlock required app functionality.
Almaniac, including its name, logo, design, and code, is the property of Chris Engelsma. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the app except as permitted by applicable law or store license terms.
Some calendar banner images are used under open licenses; attribution is available within the app.
You agree not to misuse Almaniac, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law.
Almaniac is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chris Engelsma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of Almaniac or reliance on converted dates.
We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of Almaniac after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
